The dismissal of Francisco Toscano Rodero as Government subdelegate in Sevilla is now published. The Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE) includes it in its edition of this Tuesday, October 20, 2026, within the dismissals section of the Ministerio de Política Territorial y Memoria Democrática. The resolution that orders it is dated October 16 and is signed by the Delegación del Gobierno en la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía.

What the Subdelegación del Gobierno is

The Subdelegación del Gobierno in Sevilla is the office that represents the Government of Spain in the province. It depends on the Delegación del Gobierno en Andalucía, which in turn is part of the Ministerio de Política Territorial y Memoria Democrática. It is the counter where citizens go for procedures of the Administración General del Estado in the territory, such as immigration or documentation.

A round of dismissals in several provinces

The same BOE of October 20 includes other dismissals of Government subdelegates in Andalucía, all with the same resolution date, October 16. This is the case of Ana María López Losilla in Córdoba, José María Martín Fernández in Almería, José Antonio Montilla Martos in Granada and Francisco Javier Salas Ruiz in Málaga. They are separate resolutions, each with its own reference in the BOE. The full text of the resolution on Sevilla can be consulted on the BOE website, with reference BOE-A-2026-21799.

The resolution can be read in full in the text published in the BOE and downloaded in the official PDF.
